It was announced today that Scissor Sisters will perform at the Isle of MTV live music event in Malta on 30 June. Now in its fourth year, the free open air gig takes place in the sun kissed island’s dramatic Il-Fosos Square, in Floriana.

Yes, we’ve got another festival slot to tell you about. Scissor Sisters are playing at this year’s Hultsfred Festival, which takes place in Hultsfred, Sweden from July 7-9 (Scissors are playing the opening night).

Scissor Sisters have been confirmed as one of the headliners for this year’s iTunes Festival, at the Roundhouse in London. The band will play on July 1st 2010, supported by The Drums.The performance will be recorded and sold exclusively on all 23 iTunes Stores worldwide. ITV will be broadcasting highlights of the festival in the UK.
